COURT HOUSE — On Oct. 31, Middle Township Police received a report of a burglary in progress.
When officers arrived, it was learned that a black male had forced his way into the house.
The homeowner was asleep at the time; he was awakened to the sound of glass breaking. When the homeowner went to investigate the sound he surprised the burglar in the kitchen. A short struggle ensued, and the burglar left the house as the wife called 911.
The suspect is a black male approximately 6’5”. There possibly is a black female accomplice. A dark colored sedan was seen in the area.

There have been numerous reports of burglaries throughout Middle Township over the past two months. Police believe that this incident is not related to the previously reported burglaries.
Middle Township police would like to ask all citizens to report any suspicious activity to the Police department. Residents are reminded to lock and secure their properties.
