COURT HOUSE – Middle Township will transform into a giant yard sale during the upcoming weekend to support the Fall Migration Festival being held at the Wetlands Institute on Stone Harbor Boulevard in the Township this weekend. Township residents may hold yard sales at their properties on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, September 20th-22nd with no fees or yard sale permits needed.
Each year the Township welcomes thousands of yard sale enthusiasts to enjoy taking place throughout the community. The Fall Migration Festival is will bring many visitors to the Township this weekend. They will be able to enjoy yard sales in Township neighborhoods and all of the activities offered by the Wetlands Institute.
The Wetlands Institute will celebrate the Jersey Shore as a prime migration flyway and will hold various activities and workshops intended to educate the public about the thousands of bird species that migrate across the Jersey Cape every fall. Kayak tours, photography workshops, migration-themed crafts and activities will all be offered at the Wetlands Institute.
