Middle Township Holds 28th Annual Volunteer Dinner, Seeks New Board Members

COURT HOUSE – Middle Township held its 28th annual volunteer board dinner on Oct. 13 to honor its volunteers that serve on its sixteen boards and commissions. Mayor Michael Clark, Deputy Mayor Jeff DeVico and Committeeman Tim Donohue thanked members for their hard work and commitment that has enriched the Township and made it a great place to live. Members were recognized for their many years of service, including 25 years of service for several board members. The volunteer fire and rescue chiefs and presidents were all recognized as well.
The volunteer of the year award was presented to Jeff McCart, for his dedicated service as President of the Middle Township Junior Panthers Football and Cheer Association. He has volunteered with the organization since 2004 and has been president since 2015. At the end of the program, over $300 was collected from those attending the dinner to send the football team to a showcase event in Delaware.
Dr. Mark Logan and Alison Logan were also presented with an award for donating their time over the past 32 years at the Township’s Free Rabies Clinic.
Middle Township has openings on many of its volunteer boards.
