COURT HOUSE — Middle Township Mayor Dan Lockwood announced that the Township has completed a total redesign of its municipal website, www.middletownship.com. The new municipal website for Middle Township provides the ability to find essential information more quickly, offer questions or comments, and visit more essential community links.
“This new website for Middle Township is part of an overall effort to improve communications between government and the community”, Mayor Lockwood said. “Our administration and department heads provided valuable input into our new website which will enhance our efforts to distribute information to our residents in a rapid and effective manner”.
The new Middle Township municipal website was designed by Joyce Media, Inc. with the assistance of Administrator Connie Mahon, Tax Assessor Lee Ann Russ, and various department leaders. The new website allows the Township to instantly post text, photos, PDF documents, power point presentations, videos, and external links to other websites. It also includes a complete contact list of essential personnel and offices, including direct telephone numbers and email addresses.
“This new Township website also includes an important interactive feature where the public can ask any questions they like or offer comments regarding the performance of government”, said Deputy Mayor Tim Donohue. The website includes an “Ask a Question” link at the top and bottom of the front page where the public can ask a specific question or make a comment; all questions and comments are immediately forwarded to department heads for their review and response.
The new www.middletownship.com includes a links page where various links are provided for local and regional organizations, including schools, transportation agencies, community organizations, and essential emergency management websites. The website is easily accessible by many popular smartphone platforms. Residents who wish to register their cellular phones for emergency messages may do so via link on the front page of the website.
