COURT HOUSE – Middle Township has launched a new survey on its municipal website designed to glean information from the business community in advance of Mayor Tim Donohue’s “State of the Township” address that will be delivered before the Middle Township Chamber of Commerce. The survey is located on the front page of the Township’s municipal website, www.middletownship.com.
“I believe the best way to present greater economic activity in Middle Township is to receive essential information from our business community on some of the challenges they face on a day to day basis”, Mayor Donohue said. “My philosophy is that a well-run town will attract and retain well-run businesses. I want to work with our employees to remove the bureaucratic hurdles and red tape that inhibit responsible business development in Middle Township.
The survey takes only a few minutes to complete and solicits honest answers from the Township’s business community on a host of issues. The survey asks for information including:
-The biggest challenges currently facing a business in Middle Township
-Awareness of various Township initiatives to help businesses, including the Business Loan Program and the economic development website, www.MTEconomicdevelopment.com
-Assessment of various services offered by Middle Township
-How the Township could help promote local business
“I fully realize that small businesses are the economic engine of Middle Township”, Mayor Donohue said. “I want to ensure that from a concept to a reality, the process of opening a business in Middle Township is a clear and uncluttered path that facilitates a journey to success and profitability. We can and should determine the vision of our future right here in Middle Township”.
The survey will remain available at www.middletownship.com until Mayor Donohue’s “State of the Township” address to be delivered before the Middle Township Chamber of Commerce Feb. 20 at the Avalon Links Restaurant at the Avalon Golf Club in Swainton. The survey is also available on the Chamber’s website at www.mtcc4u.com.
