Middle to Offer ‘Safe Surrender’

COURT HOUSE – Middle Township Committee has approved a community safe surrender event in which individuals subject to outstanding bench warrants will have an opportunity to address the issues in those in an environment that is “safe, efficient, fair and compassionate.” This event will include warrants issued by Superior Court or Middle Township Municipal Court. 
The event will be organized by the chief of police. It will include representatives of both courts along with sponsors and organizations that provide related criminal justice and social welfare services. Individuals can surrender themselves to the appropriate court and address their issues.
