BURLEIGH – Three subdivisions along Route 9 adjacent to the land occupied by The Lighthouse Church have each defaulted on obligations to complete improvements required when they gained site approval for the developments. The developers in default are Chazry Builders Inc. and Ros-Len Inc.
At its June 4 meeting, Middle Township Committee adopted a resolution authorizing the municipality to complete the work and seek payment from the developers’ bonds.
Township Engineer Vincent Orlando said the work remaining was largely confined to the final asphalt for the roads.
“There may be a few other small items,” he said. Orlando assured committee that the bond funds should be adequate to cover the remaining work.
