Middle Thorofare Bridge Back in Service

TWO MILE BEACH — At 11:42 a.m., Lower Township police announced the reopening of the Middle Thorofare Bridge to vehicular traffic.
At 10 a.m. on Dec. 7, the Middle Thorofare Bridge, a drawbridge which connects the Lower Township and Wildwood Crest, was closed because it was stuck in the open position.
At the time of the report, no estimate was given as to when the bridge would be repaired and reopen.
