COURT HOUSE — During the past several weeks there have been multiple residential burglaries reported in the Whitesboro and Burleigh sections of Middle Township.
A majority of the burglaries occurred during the day when the residents were not home. Residents are urged to keep their residences secured at all times and to report any suspicious activity immediately to the Middle Township Police Department at 609-465-8700.
In addition to the residential burglaries there have been several All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) reported stolen over the past two months which have occurred throughout Middle Township.
If you own an ATV please make sure it is secured and it is recommended to document the serial number and photograph it in the event it is stolen. This will make it easier for police to recover it and return it to the owner.
If anyone has any information pertaining to the individuals responsible for the recent burglaries/thefts or any other criminal activity, please contact the Middle Township Police Department @ 609-465-8700 or Cape May County Crime Stoppers @ 609-465-2800.
All information will remain confidential and may be reported anonymously. You can also leave an anonymous tip by going to www.middletownship.com and clicking on the icon labeled, “Police Tip Line”.
