COURT HOUSE — April 18 was an egg-tra special evening for several township young ladies when they appeared before a Township Committee meeting to be acknowledged as winners in the second annual Middle Township Easter Coloring Contest.
Before a packed audience four of the nine winners were present to receive accolades, a prize and a trophy naming them as some of the best color-ers in the township.
According to Recreation Leader Tammy Devitt, over 300 boys and girls, from kindergarten through fifth grade participated in the contest.
The nine winners were:
Kindergarten and First Grade: 1st place: Emma Szambelak, Court House; 2nd place: Makayla Dion, Court House; 3rd place: Summer Tozur, Court House.
Second and Third Grades: 1st place: Giavonna Sicilia; 2nd place: Amanda Berrodin, Court House; 3rd place: Shelby Repici, Goshen.
Fourth and Fifth Grades: 1st place: Caitlyn Maleski, Court House; 2nd place Cate Giulian, Court House; 3rd place: Cierra Westfield, Court House
