Mayor Murphy Announces No Tax Increase for Dennis Township

By Press Release

DENNIS TOWNSHIP – Mayor John Murphy announced that Dennis Township will not have a tax increase. Murphy took over as Mayor in January.
“We worked together and came up with a budget that has no tax increase and still provides the same services to residents. We made cuts where they were needed and we were able to hold the line on taxes.”
During Murphy and Deputy Mayor Brian O’Connor’s campaign they promised the residents of Dennis Township that taxes would remain stable and they have delivered on that promise.
“We still have a lot of work to do in the Township but we are on the right track. There are departments where we can make improvements and we will be making them. I ask the people of the Township to give us a little time to make those improvements,” concluded Murphy.
