VILLAS — Lower Township Council passed a final resolution Monday removing Township Manager Joseph Jackson from his position.
Two weeks ago, Jackson had requested a public hearing before council for Feb. 2 but according to Township Solicitor Tony Monzo, Jackson waived his right for the hearing since it would have no judicial powers. The resolution ends Jackson’s pay and benefits as of March 15.
