AVALON – Harry J. O’Neill Jr., from Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, who was reported missing on Wednesday, August 26th, at 4:47pm. was located shortly before 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Aug 27.
O’Neill and his family were on the Avalon beach where O’Neill who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, and may have the early onset of Alzheimer’s disease decided to take a walk.
O’Neill’s wife contacted the Avalon Beach Patrol when he did not return.
A comprehensive search for Mr. O’Neill began immediately, and Cape May County Sheriff’s Department K-9 squad was called to assist with the search.
