Lower, W. Cape May Lift Storm Decrees

VILLAS – The local State of Emergency for Lower Township was lifted at 9 a.m. Jan. 5. Lower Township Hall opened at 9:30 a.m.    
“We will continue to monitor and mitigate the local road conditions that are hindering travel until further notice,” stated Lower Township Administrator James Ridgway in a release. “The Warming Center at the Recreation Center remains available throughout today for emergencies.
“Trash and recycling will not be picked up today. Please use extreme caution when driving and check on neighbors, friends and our seniors, and please do not leave pets outside for long periods of time.” 
As of 10 a.m., the local State of Emergency for the Borough of West Cape May has also been lifted.
