Lower Township Offers Updates by Phone

By Herald Staff

VILLAS -Lower Township officials feel it’s important to keep residents informed during emergency situations, and with non-emergency updates. Recently, residents received ongoing updates by phone during “Super Storm Sandy”, and in the past other emergency weather situations like a major snow storm, according to Township Manager Michael Voll.
“We also want to keep our residents informed of our leaf and branch pick up schedules,” he said.
Reverse 9-1-1 phone calls go to all homes that that have the tradition hard line phones. If you would like to have your cell phone receive those updates, call the Township Manager’s office: (609) 886-2005 ext. 132.
