Lower Township Curfew Announced

VILLAS – This is a reminder that Lower Township is under a State of Emergency. Citizens have been informed that the Villas Fire Department is open and available as a shelter facility. The pet shelter is also open. Anyone requiring transportation or more information about the shelter should call 886-1619 ext. 201.
A township-wide curfew will be instituted at 6 p.m. tonight, Mon., Oct. 29, and will be in effect until 9 a.m. Tues. morning. No one should be on the roadways after 6 p.m. This will keep our citizens safe and allow our first responders to perform their duties in a safe and effective manner.
