ERMA — Lower Township police responded to more than 400 incidents over Labor Day weekend. From Fri., Sept. 3 through Mon., Sept. 6, Lower Township police officers responded to over 415 Calls For Service to include;
22 Emergency Medical Calls with the Lower Township Rescue Squad
17 Suspicious Person or Vehicle Calls
15 Disorderly Conduct Calls
14 Local Ordinance Violations
7 Thefts
6 Criminal Mischief Complaints
6 Domestic Violence Calls
2 Domestic Violence Calls with mandatory arrest
8 Animal Complaints
2 Assaults
1 Burglary
5 Harassment Complaints
2 Trespassing Complaints
In addition, Lower Township police officers investigated seven motor vehicle accidents over the weekend while conducting a total of 84 motor vehicle stops.
Officers also made two arrests for Driving While Intoxicated and two persons were arrested for narcotics violations, while five persons were arrested for outstanding bench warrants.
