Lower Police Log 2,780 Calls in January

VILLAS — Lower Township Police logged a total of 2,780 calls for the month of January. They included:
Assaults, 11; Motor Vehicle Accidents, 39; Simple Assaults 11; Theft Investigations 26; Burglaries 6; Criminal Mischief 26 and 67 Dis-orderly Conduct complaints.
Total arrests for the month included 55 adult arrests with four juveniles arrested. In addition, officers arrested a total of six drivers for Operating a Vehicle while intoxicated.
The department conducted four death investigations, and arrested five persons for possession of narcotics.
Officers completed 92 investigation reports and 59 supplemental investigation reports.
