On Sun., Oct. 31, at approximately 11:50 a.m. the Lower Township Police Department received a complaint from a home owner in the 300 Block of Angus Road in the township’s Erma Section, reporting a burglary and theft from their residence.
Investigation on scene determined that jewelry and cash totaling approximately $3,500 was stolen from the residence along with a camera and prescription medications.
A police investigation led to a suspect being identified and arrested at approximately 6:40 p.m that evening at the Shelton Motel in Middle Township.
Suspect, identified as Ryan L. Stone, age 24 of the 200 Block of Oak Avenue, Villas, New Jersey, was transported to Lower Township Police Department where he was charged with Burglary and Theft
Stone was subsequently lodged in the Cape May County Jail in default of a $25,000 cash bail, set by Municipal Court Judge Louis Belasco,
The incident was investigated by Lower Township Patrol Officers, Douglas Whitten and Eric Coombs, along with Detective Michael Majane.
