Lower Police Answer 2,528 Calls in February

ERMA — Lower Township police have issued a monthly activity report for Feb. General complaints and calls totaled 2,528.
Emergency medical calls with Lower Township Rescue Squad totaled 150.
Police answered 44 fire alarm calls: 13 with Villas Volunteer Fire Company, 13 with Town Bank Volunteer Fire Company and 18 with Erma Volunteer Fire Company. Other calls:
Assaults: 5, robbery: 1, domestic violence complaints: 24, domestic violence with assaults: 5, motor vehicle accidents: 39, traffic warnings: 12, traffic summons: 81, motor vehicle stops: 275, local ordinance warnings: 1, local ordinance complaints: 3, and assaults on police officers: 4.
Other calls: residential and commercial alarm calls: 47, property checks: 791, death investigations: 0, burglaries including motor vehicles: 25, thefts: 56, criminal mischief complaints: 37, disorderly conduct complaints: 55, animal control complaints: 180, adult arrests: 46, juvenile arrests: 12, D.W.I. arrests: 2, drug possession arrests: 12, investigation reports completed: 122, and supplemental reports completed: 37.
