Mayor Michael Beck said choosing the members was a tough decision with so many talented applicants.
“We had to look at the township from a geographical perspective, from age, all different kinds of factors to really get a cross section of people on the board that represented our community,” he said.
Some members of the advisory board have been involved with township government in the past but quite a few are new, said Beck.
The Mayor’s Advisory Board will meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the meeting room of Township Hall. The first meeting will be April 15.
