CAPE MAY – Fire Officers from Cape May, Wildwood and North Wildwood Fire Departments recently attended the annual Leadership Conference sponsored by the New Jersey Career Fire Chief’s Association in Jersey City, NJ.
Topics included a panel discussion on sharing information with the Joint Terrorism Task Force and other agencies, Performance Improvement Planning for personnel, Implementation of new technologies for emergency services utilizing modern telecommunication equipment, Public/private partnerships finding alternative funding resources for the fire service and training in accidental disability applications though the Division of Pensions and Benefits.
Over 100 fire officers from throughout the State of New Jersey attended.
