By Rachel Rogish

NORTH WILDWOOD – According to City Administrator Ronald Simone, the state Department of Transportation has given notice of conducting bulkhead work (beneath jug-handle K), adjacent to Anglesea Drive, and will be permanently closed for two months. City Clerk Scott Jett said work is slated to begin March 18, weather permitting. According to the city’s website, “The traffic for Anglesea Drive would be detoured straight on Route 147 eastbound to a traffic light on New York Avenue. From there, the traffic would be directed left on to North New York Avenue. After that, the traffic would again be directed left on to Anglesea Drive.”
