Judge: Recovery School Stays ‘Til June

WILDWOOD – According to Cape Assist Director Katie Faldetta, Superior Court Judge Julio Mendez granted permission for Cape Assist to continue facilitating the Coastal Preparatory High School at its present location. The ruling was made March 20. Faldetta said five students were enrolled, all from Cape May County. The recovery school may continue until June. Faldetta said Cape Assist would continue to seek an “appropriate space” for the program. Cape Assist was denied a land-use variance March 4 by the Wildwood Planning and Zoning Board.
