CREST HAVEN – Freeholders authorized the purchase of miscellaneous furniture for $275,844 to provide finishing requirements for the new Cape May County Correctional Center. This purchase will be made through the Educational Services Commission of N.J. Cooperative Pricing System that is designed to ensure the best prices available. The contract will be fulfilled by W.B. Mason Furniture Co. The freeholders also approved $320,807 to fund nine additional contract changes at the new facility. These changes will fund additional security features and other needs. The budget for the new center stands at $38.83 million.
