WILDWOOD CREST – Soon after he took office in January, Wildwood Crest Mayor Don Cabrera spoke of a problem at the Public Works facility with non-residents dropping off trash and recyclables. Cabrera suggested issuing IDs to residents.
Borough Administrator Constance Mahon considered options and concluded that a hanging ID located on the car rearview mirror was an efficient and cost-effective method.
The issue has been discussed off and on at borough commission meetings since February. It was again raised April 25 in response to ongoing concerns about the management of refuse at the public works yard. Mahon said a form of ID was forthcoming.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
