WILDWOOD – The Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA) gave funding for boardwalk repairs for $10,000. The contract between the City of Wildwood and GWTIDA is effective through Dec. 31, 2019, according to the agreement dated Sept. 26.
The city was responsible to “oversee the installation of boardwalk support pilings at various locations as deemed necessary…” The repairs were made in time for the Fall Boardwalk Classic Car Show (Sept. 19-22). GWTIDA determined the project fell under the proper classification of event funding.
