‘Giving a Voice to Addiction’ Forum to Be Held Oct. 10

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE — As promised, the County wants to continue the dialogue that they started at their first forum, “Putting a Face on Addiction,” held on Sept. 5, 2013. A second forum, “Giving a Voice to Addiction,” will be held on Oct. 10 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the County Administration Building, 4 Moore Road, Exit 11 off the Garden State Parkway, Cape May Court House.
Sign in and registration to speak will be at 5:00 p.m.
The County wants to hear from families and those suffering from addiction, specifically in these areas:
• What barriers did you face to getting treatment?
• What should be included in a treatment program?
• What would you like to see in recovery?
The Public is invited to attend this forum. There will be an opportunity for the first 25 people to sign-up to speak during this session. Comments will be limited to 5 minutes for each speaker. Everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to submit comments.
The County is looking forward to hearing from you, since no one can understand the struggles associated with addiction more than those who have experienced it.
