Flood Warning Lights Planned

By Camille Sailer

SEA ISLE CITY – Mayor Leonard Desiderio informed council at its Nov. 13 meeting that the city would install, by March 2019, a system of LED lights that would flash on roads that were experiencing flooding.
“These flashing lights positioned in about 70 locations throughout our town will alert drivers and residents of flooding conditions. Citizens can also continue to sign up for our e-alerts or alerts by phone to stay apprised of road conditions,” explained Desiderio.
