CREST HAVEN – Freeholders have accepted a proposal by Greenman-Pedersen Engineering, Inc. for $410,066 for engineering services associated with the Ingrams Thorofare (Avalon Boulevard) Bridge in Avalon. The decking and roadway need repair due to concrete cracking as well as some superstructure repairs. Freeholders also accepted a proposal from Churchill Consulting for $144,088 for engineering/construction services at Avalon Blvd. at the Ingrams Thorofare Bridge. Underwater substructure repairs are necessary because some undermining of the support structure has been discovered.
