FEMA Recovery Center in Court House Reopens Nov. 8

NEWARK. – Cape May County residents who were affected by Hurricane Sandy can visit a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) if they have questions about recovery programs. The center reopened Nov. 8 after closing Nov. 7 as another storm passed through the area.
Before going to a DRC, it is helpful to register with FEMA online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by phone at 800-621-3362 (TTY 800-462-7585). Individuals may also register by smart phone at m.fema.gov.
Following Wednesday’s storm, the DRCs in the following locations will reopen at 10 a.m. Thursday, closing at 8 p.m. Thereafter they will be open daily from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. until further notice.
