DENNISVILLE —Nick Elisano, a native of Dennis Township, has announced he is seeking a seat on Dennis Township Committee.
A Republican who lives in South Dennis, Elisano, 37, said he looks forward to working to meet the needs of township residents.
“Being from Dennis Township, it’s been great for me my whole life and I want to see it continue to thrive and do whatever I can do to improve it,” Elisano said. “I don’t have a political agenda. I just think it’s an important time in Dennis Township and it’s necessary to have good people in there who can work together. I want to listen to my fellow residents and do the best I can to represent them.”
Elisano attended Dennis Township School and played soccer, basketball and baseball at Middle Township High School before he graduated in 1992. He played basketball at Trenton State College, graduating in 1996 with a degree in law and justice.
He is married with two daughters. He is the fitness director at Miracles Fitness Health Clubs.
Elisano is Speed and Agility coach for the Cape Express Soccer Club. He has served on the Board of the Middle Township Chamber of Commerce and donates his time to numerous school and recreational activities.
He has just formed a new nonprofit corporation, Fitness For All, which will serve local schools and community organizations with after-school and weekend activity and nutritional programming.
Elisano seeks the Republican line in the June 5, 2012, Republican Primary, then will go forward as the GOP candidate in the General Election on November 6, 2012.
