Egg Harbor Twp. P.A.L. Set to Hold Memorial at Woodbine Airport for A.C. Officer Killed in Plane Crash

WOODBINE– The McGurk Memorial Motorcycle Run and Road Rally will be holding a memorial service at Woodbine Municipal Airport during their June 13 run.
The Run is being sponsored by the Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League (PAL) in memory of Dennis and Oksana McGurk, who lost their lives in a 2008 plane crash in Belleplain.
The McGurks were avid volunteers at the Egg Harbor Township PAL. The proceeds of the Run will benefit the McGurk’s Air Force Flying P.A.L.’s Youth Aviation Club, along with other PAL Youth Programs.
Several hundred riders will be participating in this run and rally, and a fly-by with “missing man formation” is planned by the McGurks pilot colleagues.
Registration for the run are June 13 between 10 and 11 a.m. at Bennett Chevrolet,7621 Black Horse Pike, EHT. ($20 driver; $10 passenger donation) The ride will end at the EHTPAL Spring Fair, 2590 Ridge Avenue, EHT, a family event with activities for the entire family. Sponsors/vendors wanted/needed.
