VILLAS — A dune planting is scheduled along Cox Hall Creek for Sun., April 15 from noon to 3 p.m. rain or shine at Shore Drive and Mallow Road.
The goal is to replant an area formerly occupied by a pump house. The project is spearheaded by the county Planning Department.
Anyone is welcome to attend. Children are allowed to participate but it is asked that any children under the age of 12 to please have an adult or guardian present.
What to Wear? Work clothes, anything that you do not mind getting sandy/dirty. Bring a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, water bottles, and snacks.
Planting will be taking place in the dune area where Shore Drive ends.
Look for parking along Mallow Road, Shore Drive or other side streets including Baywyn Road and Hollywood Road.
