Drill on Ocean City Boardwalk to Hone Rescuers’ Skills

OCEAN CITY – Fire and rescue personnel from throughout Cape May County will participate in two days of training at Playland’s Castaway Cove (on the Ocean City boardwalk between 10th and 11th streets) Oct. 21-22, 2019.
According to a release, the exercise is part of the county Regional Urban Search Team’s (RUST) efforts to provide technical rope rescue training to firefighters in the region.
The activity at Castaway Cove is not related to any live incident or threat to public safety.
