Doughty Won’t Seek Reelection in Middle

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE — F. Nathan “Nate” Doughty has decided not to seek another term on the Middle Township Committee.
The announcement was made in a release Mon, April 11.
First elected in 1999, Doughty won four elections for Middle Township Committee. He has served as township committeeman, deputy mayor, and mayor.
“It has been an honor to serve the people of Middle Township. I am proud of the things that we have done, all of us working together in Middle Township, and I am going to continue working right up until the end of my term,” said Doughty. “I think that 12 years is a good run in this business. It is hard to imagine that there is anything more fun than being the mayor of your hometown. But my family has been patient with me over the years, and now I think that I owe them a bit more time.”
