DENNISVILLE – During public comment at Dennis Township’s Committee meeting Oct. 9, a resident inquired as to the purpose of one of the resolutions approved regarding submission of a grant to the state Department of Transportation. “This is a second priority for us, and is to improve the safety at the intersection of County Road and Route 83 through reconstruction and realignment at that location. We’re aiming to curve that part of the road to 90 degrees rather than have a straight access that will improve lines of sight similar to what the situation is at County and Fidler roads,” explained Township Engineer Jack Gibson.
