VILLAS – Lower Township Councilman Thomas Conrad reminded residents that effective Aug. 18, phone users must dial the entire 10-digit phone number, including area code 609, to complete local calls. The creation of the new area code 640 that overlaps the 609 area code has necessitated the new process for completion of local calls.
