DENNISVILLE – Jessica Bishop, Dennis Township’s administrator, informed Committee members at their March 26 meeting that municipal operations have been reduced to essential services, and employees are working on a modified schedule.
“The goal of this plan is to reduce human contact because of the coronavirus pandemic while continuing to operate essential services for our township residents,” Bishop said. “Bulk trash has been suspended until further notice to both protect the health and safety of our employees, as well as allow for the Public Works Department to focus on other essential services such as cleaning and disinfecting township facilities. Residents can visit the township website to view the most up to date essential services plan. The plan is also posted at the entrance of Town Hall for anyone that does not have access to the internet.”
