Curb Concerns

By Camille Sailer

SEA ISLE CITY – City Council discussed, at its March 13 meeting, the lack of curbs and curbs that need replacement on Landis Avenue between 85th and 86th streets. The situation was referred to as a problem that has gone on for the last three years. Mayor Leonard Desiderio said it is the homeowner’s responsibility to maintain curb and sidewalk. At the meeting, it was noted that the county intends to pave that part of Landis Avenue and that when it does a paving job, curbs and sidewalks are included, where needed, at no charge to the municipality or homeowner.
