WILDWOOD CREST – The Borough of Wildwood Crest is set to adopt a series of ordinances as required as part of the settlement agreement between the borough and Fair Share Housing Center to provide its fair share of the region’s affordable housing.
These ordinances, in response to a mandated order by the New Jersey Supreme Court on the matter, are set to be adopted at the meeting of the Board of Commissioners March 21, at 5:30 p.m. at Borough Hall, Sweetbriar Road, and Pacific Avenue.
Prior to the adoption of these ordinances, Michael Jedzeniak of Surenian & Associates, LLC, the borough’s special counsel assigned to the former Council on Affordable Housing (COAH), and Linda Weber of CME & Associates, the borough’s planning consultants for COAH, will give a brief explanation for the needs and purposes of the ordinances with respect to the obligations set forth by state court order.
The public is welcome.
