WILDWOOD CREST – Residents spoke out at the Dec. 27 Borough Commissioners’ meeting regarding construction debris. According to one resident, debris clogs storm drains and creates hazards along sidewalks and streets without proper silt fences. Bayfront development presents challenges to contractors due to small spaces between properties. Police Chief Joseph McGrath said contractors often “do not have room” for equipment and materials. Officials said new wording will be introduced to an ordinance regarding fencing. Mayor Don Cabrera said, “We (commissioners) will keep an eye on it.”
