Crest Sets Beach Smoking Areas

WILDWOOD CREST – During the Nov. 28 Borough Commissioners’ Meeting, officials agreed to create a designated smoking area on Wildwood Crest beaches. With the passage of Gov. Phil Murphy’s Smoke-Free Act (July 2018), state beaches are smoke free with an allowance for designated areas.
Mayor Don Cabrera told the Herald Nov. 30 that although he prefers the beaches to remain smoke-free, he concurs with the suggestions of Commissioners Joyce Gould and David Thompson.
