WILDWOOD CREST – Wildwood Crest Borough Commissioners passed the 2019 municipal budget March 20. In an effort to “to do more with less,” residents will see half a cent tax-rate increase. Mayor Don Cabrera said the increase is due to general costs along with debt services, pensions, and other factors. The budget is $25 million with $15.6 million to be raised from taxes. For 2019, the municipal portion of the borough’s tax rate is $.67 per $100 of assessed value. “Wildwood Crest is on a good course,” said Cabrera in previous comments.
