WILDWOOD CREST – The Borough of Wildwood Crest has been awarded a grant from the state Americans with Disabilities Act improvements at a pair of its public buildings.
According to a release, Wildwood Crest will receive a $354,545 state Community Development Block Grant (Small Cities CDBG) to provide funds for ADA improvements at the Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool and the borough’s old library building located at Wisteria Road and Ocean Avenue.
The borough was notified of the award in a letter written by Lt. Gov. Sheila Y. Oliver on behalf of the state Department of Community Affairs.
Wildwood Crest expects to make significant improvements at both buildings in the near future. ADA improvements at the old library building will be a part of a large-scale project to renovate the building for future usage.
