County Sheriff’s Office Honors Former Crime Stoppers Chair

COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Crime Stoppers presented a plaque to the family of William Plenge, who passed away in 2011, in recognition of his service to Cape May County Crime Stoppers as Chairman of the Board for six years. The presentation was made by Undersheriff Robert Nolan and will be on display as a memorial to Mr. Plenge at the Sheriff’s Administration Building located at 110 Crest Haven Road, Cape May Court House.
One of the missions of Crime Stoppers is to assist the Police by providing an anonymous tip line for people to call in tips. Crime Stoppers also provides awards if the tips result in an arrest.
The Cape May County TIP line numbers are 609-465-2800 or 877-465-2801. Additionally, Crime Stoppers representatives are available to present safety lectures to organizations and schools.
