COURT HOUSE – Freeholder Gerald M. Thornton invites all Cape May County Veterans to attend two free informational sessions hosted by the Board of Chosen Freeholders. The events will take place at the County Administration Building located at 4 Moore Road in Cape May Court House, New Jersey (Exit 11 off the Garden State Parkway).
On Friday, April 29th from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., Congressman Frank LoBiondo will hold a medical enrollment presentation with the Wilmington VA Healthcare System. This session will be held in the Intermediate Meeting Room. Freeholder Thornton said, “Anyone who is not yet enrolled in the Wilmington VA Healthcare System is urged to do so on April 29th when representatives will be here in our county.”
On Wednesday, May 4th at 7 p.m., Wilmington VA Healthcare Director Charles Dorman and Public Affairs Officer Charles Quesenberry will provide information about the VA Healthcare System’s services for veterans in southern New Jersey. Following their presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions. This event will take place in the Freeholders’ Meeting Room.
Freeholder Thornton added, “The purpose of this meeting is to enlighten Cape May County veterans on the services provided by the facility, future plans and discuss satellite clinics associated with Wilmington VA Hospital, shuttle service, radiation therapy and the opening of the Northfield Clinic.”
