County Clerk Posts Special Dec. 5 Hours for Recall, Referendum

COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday, Dec. 5 for Mail-In Ballot Applicants for the Wildwood Recall Election and the Woodbine Special School Election.
he special Saturday hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to a release.
“In the week before the December 8 Special Elections applicants for Mail-In Ballots must apply in person at the County Clerk’s Office.” explained Rita Marie Fulginiti, county clerk.
Applicants may designate a messenger with a completed Mail-In Ballot Application to apply in person on their behalf. A messenger will be required to show photo ID.
A messenger may not be a candidate on the ballot. The deadline to apply for a Mail-In Ballot is 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7.
Mail-In Ballot Applications are available at the County Clerk’s Office, at the municipal clerk’s office or on the web at www.capemaycountygov.net . Click on Form Center, scroll down to County Clerk, Elections
The County Clerk’s Office is located at 7 N. Main Street in Cape May Court House.
Voted absentee ballots must be received at the Board of Elections by the close of polls on Election Day which is 8 p.m. in Wildwood and 9 p.m. in Woodbine.
