COURT HOUSE — Freeholder Kristine Gabor, the Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Cape May County Department of Aging and Disability Services honored the county’s senior volunteers and celebrated the 39th anniversary of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) on Sept. 19, 2013. The annual “thank you” luncheon for volunteers took place at the Wildwood Golf Club located at 1170 Golf Club Road in Cape May Court House, New Jersey.
RSVP is part of the Corporation for National and Community Service program and has been sponsored by the Board of Chosen Freeholders since 1974. The Cape May County RSVP has 243 volunteers that in 2012 contributed a combined total of 49,263 hours of community service in the county.
