Corzine Reappoints Marmora Man to County Election Board

TRENTON — On Wednesday, April 8 Gov. Jon S. Corzine made direct appointments to various state and county boards.
Among those moves was the reappointment of Hobart W. Sapp, of Marmora, to the Cape May County Board of Elections.
Sapp is one of the Election Board’s two Republican members. The other is chairman Peter Trofa. The board’s Democratic members are John B. Feeley and Robert F. Conroy, Jr.
According to its Web page, the Election Board works to ensure that the New Jersey Election Laws of Title 19 are followed with the utmost integrity. The board is responsible for voter registration of all eligible voters within the county and certifies absentee /provisional ballot results as well as final results of all elections before the Canvasser’s Report is forwarded to The Secretary of State in Trenton.
